art classes & parties

With a lifelong love of art & creativity along with a background in teaching, art classes are a perfect blend of two of my loves! I’m a firm believer that there is an artist inside of each of us, it just depends on the time you want to put into it. I would love to help you and your friends embrace the artist inside of you (at least for a few hours)!

The great thing about these art classes/parties is that I travel to you! You provide the space and the tables, and I bring everything else. These make great additions to kids parties, bachelorette parties, or just a fun and creative get-together with some of your friends. And, you all get a beautiful that you made at the end of it!

All parties require a minimum of 6 participants (let me know if this might be an issue- I’m always open to work with you)

*Note: I am based in Athens, GA. There is a travel fee for classes outside of a 25 mile radius based on how far away the location is.

Faux Calligraphy Class

Every participant will leave class with a Faux Calligraphy Practice Booklet made by me, a handwriting pen, and a few sheets of nicer paper for a finished product. There will be a faux calligraphy lesson, practice time, and several tips and tricks. You should plan for 1.5-2 hours for this class depending on how much practice time you want.

I also provide pencils, erasers, and rulers if needed.

Canvas Paint Party

Every participant will leave class with canvas painted entirely by them. I love for participants to leave with a canvas that feels like them and reflects their personality and style. It is not expected that you exactly replicate colors and style exactly (unless you want to). Instead, I provide guidelines and instructions to help you create a similar piece that will fit you and your space. When you book a canvas paint party we will choose a theme and the canvas design from there- I’ve done everything from mermaids, to snowmen, to florals, to birds. You should plan for 2-3 hours for this activity depending on how much time you want to allow for unique additions and dry time.

What I provide: canvases, paints, brushes, palette paper & palette knives (for paint), water cups, paper towels, and easels. When necessary- rulers, pencils, tape, glitter, sequins, etc.

$30/person for a 9x12 or 11x14 canvas

$35/person for a 16x20 canvas

Fluid Art Paint Class

Every participant will walk away with a 12x12 wood panel fluid piece. Fluid art is also referred to as paint pouring. This is a messy class. Make sure it is in a space that can get messy, and that you wear clothing that can get messy! The final pieces also require 24-48 hours of dry time, which means the space you make them in should be able to accommodate this. When you book a fluid art class we can choose a color palette/theme. You should plan for about 2 hours for this activity, and 24-48 hours of dry time.

What I provide: 12x12 wood panel, gesso, tape, palette paper and knives, pouring medium, paint, cups, wood mixing sticks, sealant, and gloves (which are optional).

$40/person

If you have less than six people and need a space to create, let me know. I have a space that can accommodate four people, there will just be a space rental fee.
